The platform is designed for suppliers to complete as much information as possible, but the number of questions they need to answer depends on what they are trying to achieve.
If the supplier has been invited specifically for an NDA or POC
They only need to complete the mandatory information required to submit a product before the contract can be released to them.
What the supplier should do:
Create an account (there is no cost to do this).
Go to Company Information.
Turn on the “Show mandatory only” switch at the bottom-left of the page.
Complete the required fields, which include:
Company name
Company address
Company website
The company name and address are required because they are automatically populated into the NDA when it is generated.
Adding a product
After completing the company section:
Go to the Dashboard and click Add Product.
Enable the “Show mandatory only” switch again.
Complete the mandatory product questions.
If the immediate goal is simply to progress to an NDA or POC, suppliers can provide placeholder information and update it later once the process is underway.
Once the product has been submitted and has been approved by a member of the TechPassport team an NDA can be sent (if you elected to send an Auto-NDA at the point of invitation you won't need do anything here). You can also send a POC request via their product profile which will be available in the Marketplace page.
About ERQs
Enterprise Ready Questions (ERQs) are not mandatory for NDA or POC release, but they are strongly recommended as they provide valuable due diligence information. Whether these are completed immediately can be agreed between you and the supplier.
