After inviting a supplier or vendor to TechPassport (See: How do I invite a vendor for NDA, & POC) an automated email will be triggered to the contact you have provided.
The triggered email will list the organisation you are from, as well as your own name. This is to ensure that the vendor is aware that this is a legitimate request from a financial institution.
The TechPassport team will follow up with a more personal email introduction to outline the process and to send a user guide outlining the exact steps required to onboard to the platform and access an NDA or POC. They will also always offer to book a call to complete the process alongside the vendor on a screen share.
If you have invited the vendor via a website URL only and have not provided an email, the TechPassport team will source the best contact from the invited company to take the engagement forward, usually via the companies contact us form or through LinkedIn. They will usually attempt to pick someone who is based locally to you (ie. if you are an East-Coast financial institution we will try to pick an employee from the East Coast). For these engagements we may cc you into emails so the vendor is aware this is a legitimate request.
You can request an update on your invited vendors progress in the invited suppliers page, which you can access by clicking 'show invitations' on the TechPassport home page.
Once your vendor is onboarded their status will change to 'completed' in the invited suppliers page. If you have not selected to send an Auto-NDA at the point of invitation, a member of the TechPassport team will get in touch with guidance on your next steps to send an NDA or POC.
